Finally, Microsoft presents some real innovation
August 5, 2006 on 10:31 am | In Computing | Comments OffOf course, their speech recognition in Windows Vista still is a little jerky, but it’s the best I have seen so far. If you imagine how it’s going to improve with further tuning and what it could mean for people with disabilities, you see why I am excited about this. Of all the announcments Microsoft has made for Windows Vista, I consider this one to be the most significant as it (a) integrates a completely new feature in a standard OS and (b) I currently can’t see anybody in the Mac/Linux camp having anything similar ready.
