He said that by late 2006 truck drivers and their Marine convoy escorts were finding 20 to 30 roadside bombs on each convoy trip through Anbar, the restive Sunni heartland.
In today’s NY Times there’s an article talking about the death toll of civilian contractors. We wouldn’t know about it if it weren’t for a free press in a free country.
