Warhammer Blog

I really neglected my blog lately, there was a post stop from November till July. Basically, there are two reasons why:

  • I don’t have that much unique stuff and just reporting other people’s news is boring.
  • As I got more active on facebook, I found most people I know there as well so it’s definitely easier to feed news into that system instead of having everybody come here. (I doubt many of the people I know know about RSS feeds.)

However, right now it’s the right time for a restart and a transformation of this blog into a Warhammer 40’000 blog. Reasons:

  • My painted miniatures are rather unique.
  • Twitter and URL shorteners allow me to broadcast blog updates on facebook and #wh40k so I have a real chance to actually reach the people who care about this sort of news.

I have decided to leave the old content for now as people are still looking at my Joomla installation guide, for example. However, that kind of content will be moved into the background and there are probably some design changes to the blog as well as it will gradually shift towards my Warhammer hobby.

There was a time when I wondered if I should keep the blog at all and not just feed everything into facebook. However, I guess it’s smart to always have your own independent channel of communication. ;-)
